FTC Tree Freexion Device And Tether

The FTC Tree Freexion unit with tether gives you full control over friction when tree climbing. Combine it with a suitable pulley for optimal performance in both SRT and DRT systems.

This product includes only the **Freexion unit and tether**. Combine it with a CAMP Sphinx or DMM Triple Attachment pulley to create a complete system, such as:

Our energy dispersion system **Freexion** allows you to advance with a friction hitch on a single rope, moving in all directions (up/down/transverse). It is CE-certified and works with all EN 1891 ropes (type A) with a diameter of **11.5 mm to 12.5 mm**. The three-stage adjustment system (**hard/medium/soft**) allows you to modify the system's angle. You can adjust the friction according to rope diameter, climber's weight, or specific conditions in the tree.

With safe opening of the front pin, Freexion can be installed mid-rope for easy rigging. It is the first system that does not need to be removed from the rope or disassembled to change friction – switch in seconds without tools by pressing both ends of the double button.

In the tree, you change the friction by moving the tether's pin to adjust the braking. Example: High up in large trees with heavy rope weight, set to **soft** for reduced friction. Lower down, switch to **medium** or **hard** for increased braking. Climb dry on a **hard** morning and switch to **soft** in the rain due to rope diameter expansion.

The setting is so intuitive that you will soon be freely adjusting the braking. Extra loop on the **Freexion Tether** for a carabiner and extra friction during rescue. The shape facilitates switching from SRT to DRT – use the unit to slide the hitch without disengaging the system.

The system is compact thanks to its short, flexible tether. During ascent, it stays low close to the body for an upright position and good freedom of movement. The compact design benefits lateral movements and easy adjustments between SRT/DRT or friction levels.
