Securing vulnerable branches is not only a legal obligation but also an important contribution to sustainability. That's why we are proud to have developed, in collaboration with our long-standing partner Liros, the first hollow rope made of recycled polyester that has successfully passed all tests and weather resistance tests.
Our hollow rope uses GRS-certified rPET yarn, made from 100% recycled PET bottles. This significantly reduces carbon emissions and makes a significant contribution to environmental protection. Each tonne of recycled PET reduces emissions by 1.5-2 tonnes, which is a saving of around 70% compared to conventional polyester.
The rope is initially available in the well-proven 4 t Classic variant for dynamic anchoring. It is characterized by easy installation with proven braiding and splicing techniques.
In addition, it is recyclable and can be returned to GEFA if necessary, ensuring a closed loop system.
Hollow ropes can be installed either as a single-component system with friction protection or as multi-system solutions, for example with eye loops.
