Description
Description
Braided Safety Blue® - HiVee is a high-quality 16-strand climbing rope for arborists from New England Ropes. With its unique blue safety core, robust construction, and EN 1891 A certification, it offers superior safety, ergonomics, and longevity.
Braided Safety Blue® is the industry standard among 16-strand climbing ropes and a trendsetter in arborist climbing. The rope combines advanced features for unparalleled safety, ergonomics, and durability. Its blue nylon safety core is exposed when deep damage or significant wear occurs, clearly indicating that the rope should be retired. With a diameter of 12.7 mm, it is gentle on the hands, allowing for longer workdays without risk of injury. The construction is optimized for maximum wear resistance: each of the 16 strands consists of tightly twisted polyester fibers over fibrillated polyolefin, which provides a firmer, rounder, and more durable strand compared to competitors who skip this step. The rope retains its shape even after years of use, holds knots better, and does not develop 'memory'. A special protective coating enhances abrasion resistance, grip, and longevity. Easy to splice for customized solutions.
