Improve your tree climbing with this Spikescender from KK. Simplifies slack management and keeps the climbing line out of the way for smoother SRT/MRT climbing.
This **SS23RR** fits:
- Notch Steel
- Post 2021 Distel Carbon Fibre
- Panther; Alloy & Carbon Fibre
- Distel; Alloy & Classic
- Gecko; Alloy & Carbon Fibre
- Notch; Alloy & Carbon Fibre
This **SS23/RR does NOT fit**: New Distel MK3 alloy or Distel DMM shafts: These have ribbed shafts that require a spacer to be placed behind the SS23 to fill the gap. The spacer is available HERE.
NOTE, if you do this, the dynamics and feel of your gaffing will change drastically as the gaffs will protrude an additional 10 mm towards the tree. Using "short" or "polished" gaffs would mitigate this change in feel.
