Description

The Petzl ANGE L is a lightweight, strong carabiner, perfect for climbers who want to minimise weight without compromising on functionality. The innovative design makes it easy to use and extremely reliable.

The ANGE L carabiner represents the best of both traditional solid-gate and classic wire-gate carabiners. Petzl's MonoFil technology and the H-shaped cross-section make it light (34 grams) and provide an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. The nose shape and the Keylock system prevent the carabiner from snagging when you clip and unclip. It is the perfect design for climbers who want to reduce weight while retaining the functionality of a standard-size carabiner.

Very light standard-size carabiner:

Weighing 34 g, it makes mountaineering and climbing in alpine mountains and ice easier
The carabiner's size and strength-to-weight ratio are optimised thanks to the H-shaped cross-section

Easy to clip and unclip:

The MonoFil gate opens and closes smoothly and has a much longer service life compared to traditional wire-gate carabiners; the wire gate is recessed into the frame, reducing the risk of it rubbing against the rock
The Keylock system is designed so it will not snag on a gear loop, piton, rope or webbing
The carabiner's nose has a hole that allows ice, snow or dirt to be cleared away
The carabiner's flat back provides stability when holding it in your hand or clipping it on
Wide contact surface against the rope and bolt hanger for better rope glide and reduced wear on the carabiner
