Description
The TWIN RELEASE is a double pulley with locking function from Petzl, perfect for building 4:1 haul systems in tight spaces or for technical rescue. The ergonomic design with integrated brake gives excellent control when lowering heavy loads up to 280 kg.
Detailed description
The TWIN RELEASE is a removable double progress-capture pulley optimised for 4:1 haul systems. With an ergonomic handle for easy release of the cam, an integrated brake in the moving side plate and a main sheave with one-way rotation, you get better braking action and control when lowering. The double sheaves give high hauling efficiency. The swivel makes handling easier by allowing the pulley to be rotated under load and permitting direct connection of carabiners, ropes or harnesses.

- Brake integrated in the main moving side plate for comfortable and precise control when lowering heavy loads.
- The cam can be locked in the open position for easy feeding of slack.
- Toothless cam protects the rope and enables a smooth transition between lowering and hauling.
- Optimised efficiency for 4:1 haul systems: Large sheave diameter on sealed ball bearings for high hauling efficiency (95%).
- Main sheave with facets and one-way rotation gives excellent efficiency when hauling and extra friction zones for braking when lowering heavy loads.
- Parallel-mounted sheaves and additional attachment point for complex haul systems.
- Easy to use: Triple-action opening of the moving side plates, even with gloves.
- Red indicators give a visual warning when the side plates are unlocked.
- The rope can be installed with the device attached to the anchor point.
- Hole in the handle for a remote-control cord.
- Swivel makes work easier: Allows rotation under load.
- Holds up to three carabiners.
- Swivel and additional attachment point for easier rigging with ropes and harnesses.
