The VULCAN (Screwlock) from Petzl is a high-quality steel carabiner with a screw lock (Screw-Lock), specially developed for demanding environments such as arborist work, industrial climbing and rescue operations. The asymmetric shape with large capacity is ideal for multiple anchors and compatible with the CAPTIV positioning bar for optimal load distribution.

Description

The VULCAN is a high-strength steel carabiner for tough conditions. The floating internal design minimises the risk of snag points and makes rotation easier. The Keylock system prevents unwanted snagging. The H-profile gives an optimal strength-to-weight ratio and protects the markings against abrasion. The Screw-Lock system has a red indicator band that gives a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked.
