Petzl ZigZag Kit (DRT)

The Petzl ZigZag Kit (DRT) is a complete system for efficient and smooth movement in trees. Includes the ZigZag, two Petzl Ok Triact carabiners and a Captiv positioning bracket.

Description ZIGZAG

Use:

• The technique is identical to the classic Prusik hoist system
• The device automatically locks onto the rope when the friction chain is stretched
• Enables the user to work in accordance with the ANSI Z133 standard
• Petzl ZigZag Should only be used with Petzl OK Triact or Petzl AMD , as well as with Petzl Captiv .

For efficient movement in the tree:

• Rope feeding is smooth and precise thanks to the release lever, which gives the user great control over their movements. By adjusting the pressure on this lever, the speed of movement is controlled
• Easy to take up slack thanks to the pulley mounted on sealed ball bearings and the separated and curved side plates
• The lower mounting hole is fixed to ensure the device is aligned with the worker's shoulder and provides optimized grip

Versatile:

• For use on either double ropes or a single rope, thanks to the CHICANE accessory, which provides more friction during descent, and the KNEE ASCENT devices, which facilitate ascent
• Upper attachment hole for the rope end when using a double rope or for the CHICANES additional braking device when using a single rope. It has a flexible positioning ring that helps keep the coupling oriented along its main axis
• Extra attachment holes to add a ZILLON cable lock or connect a second system
