The Protos® Integral Bluetooth system BT-Com IV offers interference-free communication thanks to advanced Bluetooth® technology. The connection is not affected by radio transmitters or similar interferences, with a range of up to 150 m between 2 units and up to 600 m between 4 units in open terrain[1][2][3]. The microphone with ambient noise reduction suppresses background noise by up to 20 dB and ensures crystal-clear voice communication, while important external sounds remain audible for increased safety[2].

Easy operation with a multifunction button and two volume buttons makes the system simple to use with one hand. All technology is integrated into the ear cup, eliminating cables and connectors for maximum freedom of movement and comfort without the risk of snagging[1][2][3]. The system is seamlessly mounted into the Protos® Integral's existing hearing protection bracket – no drilling, cables, or clamps required. Helmet not included[2][3].

The battery (lithium-ion/polymer, 3.75 V, 600 mAh) provides up to 12 hours of operating time and is easily charged via the included USB charging bracket (5 V DC, 200 mA, reverse polarity protected) in approximately 1.5 hours.
