Description

The STEIN SMB1000 rigging bollard is a robust and reliable lowering device for tree care. With a working load limit (WLL) of 1000 kg and hard-wearing materials, it facilitates safe and efficient felling with rope up to 14 mm.

Features

Simple bollard design with front and rear guides (fairleads) for smooth line feeding to the bollard.
Two replaceable, heavy-duty tree protection rubbers in durable SBR/NR rubber to minimise damage to the tree trunk.
Lightweight (4.4 kg excl. strap system) for easy one-person mounting via the upper suspension point – recommended with the STEIN mounting strap (SS-RCP6004).
Safety reinforcement via base anchoring with a sling and a self-tightening knot (e.g. cow hitch or timber hitch) – the STEIN 20 mm Multi-Sling (SS-3372008005) is recommended.
Supplied with a specially designed strap system with click ratchet, carbon-steel hooks with safety pins and UV-resistant polyester webbing (50 mm wide, breaking strength 6000 kg).
The ratchet meets EN12195-2:2001 with a lash capacity (LC) of 1000 daN and breaking strength (BS) of 2000 kg – suited to trees up to 145 cm in diameter.
Updated 2024 model with replaceable aluminium guides and dual entry for rope from both sides.
