Description

The Spiderleg Balancer sling gives you optimal control during rigging and dismantling of trees. Made from extremely durable STEIN OMEX-12 rope for superior strength, minimal stretch and exceptional abrasion resistance.

The Spiderleg Balancer is a simple and effective solution for catching and balancing branches during rigging and taking down trees. The sling attaches to the rigging rope with a Klemheist or Prusik knot. For the best grip, it is recommended that the sling's diameter be 2 mm smaller than the diameter of the rigging rope.

Several balancer slings can be attached to the same rope to create more than two attachment points, providing perfect balance for complex loads and awkward branches.

Made from STEIN OMEX-12, a 12-strand single braid rope with high breaking strength, low stretch and a coating that reduces the risk of snagging and significantly increases abrasion resistance. OMEX-12 has two ends per carrier, creating a larger cavity in the centre for easier splicing.
