Description
Description
The Ocean Polyester Loop, 8mm from Teufelberger is a high-quality, stitched polyester sling with two eyes (eye-to-eye), certified according to **EN 795 B**. It is ideal for arborists and tree climbers due to its high heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and excellent grip. The stitched construction replaces bulky knots and guarantees safety and reliability in critical situations.
Features
- Certified according to EN 795 B (1996 & 2012), ANSI Z133, AS/NZS 5532 – Meets stringent safety requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE) in arboriculture.
- Heat-resistant construction – Outer jacket made of polyester/aramid (e.g., Kevlar) and core made of polyester provide superior heat and abrasion resistance, perfect for friction-based applications such as Prusik or hitch climbing.
- Stitched eye-to-eye design – Manufactured on automated machines for high quality and minimal bulk; the eyes are optimized for carabiners and compatible with the DMM Hitch Climber Pulley.
- Multifunctional – Replacement part for CElanyard and CEclimb; can be used in rescue operations after a fall arrest (confirmed by TÜV).
- 32-strand braided jacket – Provides a round shape, good grip, and long service life on 11 mm ropes.
