Designed for extreme work environments, MAMBA represents a breakthrough in technical safety and versatility. Its core of para-aramid fiber has a melting point of 450ºC (842ºF) and is highly resistant to cuts, impacts, abrasion, fire and acids. The PES elastane sheath protects and encloses the inner fibers in a lightweight, low-profile and easy-to-handle package. Rated to EN standards for two people and with an MBS of 49 kN (11,016 LBF), Mamba is extremely strong for anchor building, yet compact enough to be carried on a harness or in a pocket. It is the perfect tool for rescue and access in the most difficult conditions.

The breaking strength of this equipment exceeds all requirements of the listed standards, yet it is flexible, lightweight and low in volume. MAMBA slings are strong and flexible and retain their shape when wrapped around overhead structures or reaching hard-to-reach areas. The exceptionally high strength opens up opportunities for use in choker (girth hitch) configurations. There is no heavy hardware to carry and maintain, and each sling can be packed down for transport. We recommend following best practices for inspecting equipment, using edge protection and placing lifting straps around small diameter structures.
