Yale Cordage
Calamine 11.7 mm – 1 Splice
24-strand polyester rope in purple/pink for advanced climbing with mechanical devices — with a certified eye splice
Yale Calamine is a 24-strand hollow braid polyester rope built for climbing with mechanical devices. The construction is designed for SRS and MRS techniques with equipment such as ZIGZAG, Unicender and similar — the coreless braid structure provides consistent grip and smooth running through the device.
Elongation is 1.8% at 245 kg, which is low for an arborist climbing rope. This means the rope does not give more than necessary when the device loads it, providing a clearer and more predictable system to work with. Polyester remains stable against UV, moisture, and most chemicals encountered in tree care work.
This is the "Poison Ivy" color: purple and pink. Practical if you have several ropes in rotation — easy to distinguish without having to read markings. The eye splice is certified according to EN 1891:1998.
